Icmeler , Mulga District

Icmeler is a small town situated in a valley leading to the Aegean sea ,its much larger counterpart is the most popular holiday resort of Marmaris which is situated about a mile along the coast. Icmeler for most visitors becomes like a drug ! once you have been you just can't stop going back year on year . People have been going for some over 25 years when Icmeler was a very small town with not a hotel in site .

As you can see from the pic its changed quite a lot ! for many to much but it is what it is now which is a fabulous place for a holiday or even like some people, a new home to retire to. It has everything you need, really lovely views ,great entertainment ,food ,spas ,etc , some great boat trips so you can swim in the turquoise sea which is so clear ! visiting secluded bays having bbq lunches ,drinks and on some trips entertainment ( if you want a lazy day trip with no loud music ? check first before booking ) I can recommend having a turkish bath while you are there to ! The time of year you go is also a factor for the holiday maker . from around April to June the weather is great and the temperature just about right (20's to around 30 ),after june onwards to the beginning of september the heat is turned up ! (well into the 30's and low 40's sometimes ) so be aware if you don't like it hot !
